New South
Carolina License Plates
You have probably heard the South Carolina Division of Motor
Vehicles has begun to issue the new "Sunrise" license plates
starting with July 2008 vehicle registrations. The new
plates feature an easier to read design and promote state
tourism via the
www.travel2sc.com website. For more information on the
history and issuance of the new plates,
please visit the SCDMV website.
Over the course of this rollout our Pal Pass tag holders
will receive new plates along with a new license plate
number. We are required to maintain a record of the valid
license plate number for every Pal Pass equipped vehicle.
When you receive your new plate you must inform us to update
your Pal Pass account record with your new license plate
number. This is a minor inconvenience for all of us and the
Southern Connector would like to do its part to make this
process a little bit easier. Why not update your information
online? It's simple, quick, and you can update any hour of
the day or night - when it's convenient for YOU. Just follow
the link below and key in the new information. What could be
easier?
UPDATE MY ACCOUNT NOW!
If you would rather submit the updated information in
person, we can still save you a visit to the customer
service center by using the handy, printable "DROP-OFF" form
which you can fill-in and give to any toll-collector at
either of the manned plazas along our roadway. Don't worry
about coming through a manned toll lane with a Pal Pass. Our
collectors are aware of Pal Pass equipped vehicles and you
will not be charged twice or have to pay a cash toll.
